About Vietnam in the World

Vietnam in the World (VIEW) is a non-partisan 501(c)(3) research organization registered in the state of Virginia on September 8th, 2024. VIEW is committed to a vision of a prosperous and inclusive Vietnam and its diaspora in the global community. 

Through rigorous, policy-relevant research and educational outreach, VIEW provides evidence-based insights into Vietnam’s politics, economy, society, and international relations. In a rapidly changing Vietnam, we aim to produce and promote innovative research that captures the multifaceted dimensions and dynamics of these transformations. 

By promoting diverse viewpoints and informed discourse, we aim to serve members of the public interested in Vietnam. VIEW strives to provide accessible and reliable information on Vietnam’s politics, economy, society, and civil institutions to help international audiences—including policymakers, students, journalists, and business leaders—navigate the complexities of Vietnam’s evolving landscape.
